Glossary

Board:

A core feature of the Rank The Globe™ platform. Users are able to create their own boards in the form of either interactive rankings or interactive entertainment. Currently there are three classes of boards to choose from: Ranking, Rating and Recreation.

Rankings:

• All-Time: a ranking board that will never expire, suitable for rankings of a permanent nature (e.g. the best paintings of all time)
• Limited-Time: a ranking board with an expiry date or active date range, suitable for rankings of a temporary nature (e.g. the best movies of 2025)

Ratings:

• Use Ratings to rate any product or company and share your experience with other Globers. Rate anything anywhere on a scale of 10 (even 0 is allowed!). 

Recreation:

• Paper Telephone: a popular social game and icebreaker, where users can write a story together
• Tier List: create tiers for games and more
• Meme Post: create memes and funny posts
• Text Post: standard posts

Item:

An individual rung of a board. Items of a ranking board can be voted on by registered and unregistered users alike. A registered user can add or edit items on their own board or even another’s board (when applicable)
