Content Filtering, Moderation & Anti-Child Exploitation

General Content Safety Commitment

Rank The Globe™ (RTG) is committed to building its reputation as the safest and healthiest online platform. Aside from periodic manual inspections, RTG's automated content filtering is enabled by default to help root out profanity, pornographic and other harmful content around the clock.

Note: Content filtering is mandatory and enabled by default regardless of a user's self-declared age to ensure users of all ages are protected to the fullest extent.

Nevertheless, a perfect content filtering system simply does not exist, so we encourage RTG community members to abide by the community rules at all times and make good use of the reporting function, collectively maintaining a respectable social environment on RTG.

Anti-Child Exploitation Commitments

RTG is committed to preventing child exploitation (any act involving a minor that constitutes sexual abuse, trafficking, forced labor, or any other form of exploitation), as part of our effort to foster a safer online environment for our users.

  • Age Verification Controls: We have implemented automated safeguards from registration onwards. Users are required to verify their birth date at registration, and anyone below the age requirement will not be allowed to register. This automated verification is also retroactive and checks for user's birth date upon every login. We require users to be at least 13 years old to create an account and 16 years old to access social media features, consistent with the Terms of Use.
  • Permission Controls: Underage users cannot access social media features such as Direct Messaging and Discussion Rooms. They cannot be contacted through Direct Messaging or other means by other users either.
  • Monitoring and Auditing: Automated filters, Content Quality AI, manual inspections and auditing, and user flags help us detect and remove potentially harmful content and activities. Enforcement options range from content removal, account ban/suspension, and reporting to law enforcement agencies, depending on the nature of the case.
  • Cooperation with Authorities: We are committed to cooperating with law enforcement agencies in the investigation and prosecution of child exploitation offenses. We promptly report any detected instances of child exploitation to the appropriate authorities, in accordance with legal obligations.
  • Community Guidelines: We update our community guidelines to reflect current best practices and promote user awareness.
